Cookie policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
The rts-trans.com website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. We use no advertising, analytics or social media cookies. On your first visit, a banner informs you of this; it does not ask for consent, because these cookies do not require it.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the website to recognise your browser for a limited time.
Who sets the cookies?
The cookies described below are set by SARL ROYAL TRANS SOLUTIONS (RTS – Royal Trans Solutions), 1 rue de la Haye, 67300 Schiltigheim, France, publisher of rts-trans.com.
Cookies used on this website
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
royal_trans_solutions_session | Keeps your browsing session (selected language, secure submission of the quote request form). | 120 minutes | Strictly necessary |
XSRF-TOKEN | Security: protects forms against Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. | 120 minutes | Strictly necessary |
cookieAccepted | Remembers that you closed the cookie information banner, so it is not shown on every page. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
Under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines, these cookies do not require consent: they are essential for the website to function and are not used to track your browsing.
The website does not use browser local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) either.
Google Maps (Contacts page)
The Contacts page offers a Google Maps map showing our address. The map is not loaded automatically: it only appears if you click the “Show map” button.
By clicking, you agree that Google (Google Ireland Ltd) loads its content and may set its own cookies and collect your IP address under its own policy: policies.google.com/privacy. If you do not click, the map is not loaded.
The contact form on the same page uses the Google Maps service to suggest addresses. For this, when you open the Contacts page, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address in particular. This service is only used to help you enter addresses; we do not use it for analytics or advertising.
Social media links
The Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and WhatsApp icons at the bottom of the page are plain links. They set no cookies unless you click them. Once on those platforms, their own policies apply.
How to manage or delete cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the quote request form from being sent.

Changes to this policy
If we ever add cookies that require consent (for example analytics), this page will be updated and a banner will let you accept or refuse them before they are set.
